Site Crawl Errors

I have read the FAQs and checked for similar issues: YES / NO

My site's URL is:  http://bit.ly/dwFgBV

I recently tidied up my site and moved several pages to a subfolder.

WMT has identified 10 Crawl Errors under the 'Not Found' section where the pages used to be and each have a '404 Not Found' message beside them.

I am new to .htaccess files and Apache servers – but wondering how do I resolve these errors?

Results above less relevant based on content and relevance. Why?

The website http://www.permanente-ontharing.nl/ is online since june 2009. Till now i have not reached a higher position in Google Dutch local search than 90 for the keyphrase "permanente ontharing".

When i look at the results above me, they look less relevant based first of all on the content and the keyphrase.
I have 37 incoming links to this page and PR of 1.

Keyphrase is 9 times in the page + title/description/keywords + domainname. Maybe a bit too much? But it should not give me such as low position.

For "permanente ontharing amsterdam" it "looks" like the page is in the top 10. Difference is one word. Difference in position in IMO very big..

Am i punished in some way?

my site disappeared 2 days after adding google analytics. is that why? www.tdstainedglass.com

I have read the FAQs and checked for similar issues: YES
My site's URL is: www.tdstainedglass.com
Description (including timeline of any changes made): i've been working on my site based on a book i'm reading on seo. it suggested i start using google analytics, so i signed up two days ago. now my site which is usually page three or higher when searching for "stained glass" is nowhere to be found. it's not even there when i search for "stained glass denver" which used to make it rank high on page one.

please tell me this is reversible! is it because i joined google analytics? i'm also doing a site update, but am keeping that in a separate folder on my server. is that it? is it the redundancy of it being in two places at the same time? how can i reverse this?

googlebot accessing phpmyadmin and deleting database content ???

I have read the FAQs and checked for similar issues: YES
My site's URL is: www.private.com
Description

I have just resolved a problem on a client web site where some mysql database tbales were mysteriously missing. It appears that the previous web dev installed phpmyadmin and never password protected the folder.

When looking through the web loggs I could see hundreds of phpmyadmin requests from IP 66.249.71.84 which on a reverse lookup was googlebot.com. here's a line from the log (domain disguised):

66.249.71.84 – - [12/May/2010:13:03:21 +0200] "GET /phpMyAdmin/sql.php?db=db194567&table=maillist&lang=en-utf-8&convcharset=iso-8859-1&collation_connection=utf8_unicode_ci&token=dd495b1e92j5g00374fb1ad92b53&pos=0&session_max_rows=30&disp_direction=horizontal&repeat_cells=100&dontlimitchars=0&sql_query=DELETE+FROM+%60maillist%60+WHERE+CONVERT(%60maillist%60.%60customers_email_address%60+USING+utf8)+%3D+'private1%40hotmail.com'+LIMIT+1&zero_rows=The+row+has+been+deleted&goto=sql.php%3Fdb%3Ddb195316745%26table%3Dmaillist%26lang%3Den-utf-8%26convcharset%3Diso-8859-1%26collation_connection%3Dutf8_unicode_ci%26token%3Ddd495b1e92f51dae800374fb1ad92b53%26pos%3D0%26session_max_rows%3D30%26disp_direction%3Dhorizontal%26repeat_cells%3D100%26dontlimitchars%3D0%26sql_query%3DSELECT%2B%252A%2BFROM%2B%2560maillist%2560%26zero_rows%3DThe%2Brow%2Bhas%2Bbeen%2Bdeleted%26goto%3Dtbl_properties_structure.php HTTP/1.1" 200 38778 www.private.co.uk "-" "Mozilla/5.0 (compatible; Googlebot/2.1; +http://www.google.com/bot.html)" "-"

I'm no expert with the web logs but it appears it has been deleting entries in the database.

If I am right, how can this happen???

Thanks, Steven

What is the impact of having one .com site with a set number of regionalised pages targeting several markets?

I have read the FAQs and checked for similar issues: YES / NO
My site's URL is:
Description (including timeline of any changes made):
Currently have a .com and .ie site live – plan is is one regionalised site – a .com. We are neither redirecting any user to any page nor are we cloaking any urls using  cloaking techiques  – all we are doing is first trying to find out what region IP user is using and if it matches any of the country options in dropdown box -  we select the country name by default from the drop down list. and user will be shown events/news and other things of that country- the user is always free to change the country name from drop down list.

If content on regionalised pages is carefully targeted at specific market such as Uk and US, will this work will with google ranking?
Any thoughts welcome?

Web Site Marketing for 2009

If you’re launching a new site, write an introduction and submit it to share sites like Digg, Reddit and Now Public.

  • Have your friends tag your best work in Digg. This is a site that allows people to vote for and against articles. Your friends can help you move your article in the right direction. If your article is good it can bring a lot of visitors.
  • Encourage readers to Digg authority articles. If they like the article or post they will vote for it for you (it takes a few seconds).
  • Create a Yahoo Group in the niche of your site.
  • Create a MySpace account. You can publicise your site by it.
  • Bookmark your site on Del.icio.us and add it as button to your homepage.
  • Create a Technorati account.
  • Use Technorati Tags. It gathers the latest blog entries and organizes them into categories. In order to get into the right Technorati categories, you have to tag your blog entries. That way you will be exposed to other bloggers and webmasters that can link to you. To create a Technorati Tags use the Tag Generator tool. The only thing you have to do is to type the keyword, and the tool will make the code for the tag.
  • Submit you site to free search engine directories.
  • Place a free ad for your company on Gumtree.
  • Sign up to StumbleUpon and get your friends to Stumble your site.
  • Write an article and submit it to article sites.
  • Submit your site to DMOZ.org. It’s worth it.
  • Offer your users every possible way to contact you.( MSN, Skype, Yahoo etc all complement email, phone and a real address.)
  • Don’t worry about PageRank.
  • Create a sitemap of your site and submit it to Google Index.
  • Use your Google Account for Google Webmaster Tools, Google Analytics, Google AdWords
  • Get a t-shirt with your website url on it, and wear it often.
  • Ask a young, large breasted lady to wear one too.
  • Sign up with an affiliate programme to sell your product, or if you’re a publisher, make some cash!
  • YouTube and Google Video are excellent portals on which to launch a viral campaign.
  • You can contribute to related subject areas on Wikipedia
  • Ask bloggers and other website owners to review your site.
  • Tell your local newspaper about your site. These are desperate for stories.
  • Publicise your site on related forums.
  • Have a Sitemap on your site. It not only allows users to navigate around quickly but also aid the search engines.
  • Creating list-posts. People love linking to such stuff- Top 10 rules to become a winner, Top 5 Internet Marketing Gurus. Your list-post should be placed on a prominent location on your site.
  • Comment on other blogs. Always fill in the URL box for the owner to find your site. Answering other people’s questions gets them excited and that is an effective way to spark an online rambling about you and your site.
  • Respond to comments that are left on your blog. When people’s questions are answered, you become the authority. People can’t help but link to the authority.
  • Respond to your email. Be kind, be cool and help people with their questions. Being helpful to others will earn you respect and link love.
  • Link out to other blogs. If you link to interesting articles on other blogs, they will link back to interesting articles that you have.
  • Get a MyBlogLog account. Bloggers go there to meet each other and find new blogging friends.
  • Start a MyBlogLog.com Community. Creating your own community allows members to join. Be social and invite members to join your community. This exposes a lot more bloggers to your site.
  • Read your posts before publishing. Make sure they are correct before you show them to the world. Make sure your writing is easy to read and grammatically correct.
  • Run spell check. It may sound stupid, but it helps you avoid spelling mistakes.
  • Submit articles to article sites. They will allow you to place a link to your site at the bottom of the article. You can write an article about anything in your field in about 500 words.
  • Write testimonials for sites whose services have helped you. They often turn into links, and the webmasters will surely check out your site.
  • Alert friends when you create something that will help them. If so they should definitely give you some link love.
  • Answer people’s questions on Yahoo Answers. If you don’t already have a resource on your site that will help answer a question, create one. Link to from Yahoo! Answers. You have a link, and valuable content for your site.
  • Answer questions on Google Groups. It is similar to Yahoo Answers.
  • Submit to free web directories. They are lists of thousands of sites. One of them should be you!

  • Encourage your friends to start blogs. It can work out great for your blog.
  • Buy links. You can use a service like Text Link Ads to purchase and rent links.
  • Rent links. It is the same as buying links except the links won’t be permanent. Usually you pay monthly for this type.
  • Buy posts from other bloggers. you can buy posts through services like Pay Per Post and ReviewMe.
  • Donate some time every week to hold question(Q) and answer (A) sessions for beginners in your area. They’ll link to you.
  • Add a link to your site in the signature of the forums you post on.
  • Use free advertising! Tell your friends about your site.
  • Find quality blogs and leave a comment with a link back to your site.
  • If you want a Flash homepage, make sure you have a “Skip Intro” link.
  • Use the local community sports teams’ for cheap, but highly effective sponsorship.
  • Ask bloggers to write about your site for a link of course.
  • Submit stories to news sites. Even huge sites accept stories from free lancers.
  • Review products on other sites like e Pinions. You can quickly establish yourself as an expert by writing thorough reviews of products in your field. Some of the traffic that hits your review will follow the trail back to your site, leading to links.
  • If you don’t have any friends, get some quickly.
  • Comment on online newspapers. Most of the writers will follow the trail back to your site.
  • Use forums and discussion boards. The best way to answer people’s questions is by creating a short walkthrough on your site that teaches them. Show them where to find it and you have yourself a link.

Fast Track Your eCommerce Website in 2009!

So you want to start an online business. Maybe you’re a stay at home mom and want to generate additional cash or you’re a brick and mortar business looking to tap into the vast potential of virtual traffic. Either way the internet has provided a spectacular opportunity to achieve great success however, creating an online business takes time and money. It also requires a great deal of knowledge of domain names, website creation, and services available to optimize your businesses success.
First you will need to purchase a domain name. Once you have chosen a name that represents and describes your business you will need to build a website. This website becomes the doorway to your products and/or services. This website is the first impression to a world of potential clients/customers.
If you do not know how to build a website then chances are you will have to contract the services of a website developer in order to put your business on the fast track to traffic and sales. However, hiring a developer can become costly and time consuming.
Now there is a new option that has become popular. The purchase of a turnkey website can get you up and running in record time at a percentage of the cost involved in developing a website from scratch. A turnkey website is a fully functioning site that contains product descriptions and images, prices, shopping carts and checkout, as well as other essential tools to meet the needs of your business. Buying a turnkey business is like buying a new home that is ready to move into. You get your key, walk through the door, and start living. All of the components necessary for you to begin your endeavor are already in place thus providing you less work, less stress, and less cost.
As the owner of a new turnkey website all you have to do is tweak the site to your preferences and details. It is simple for you to add the essential elements to finalize your sites appearance and function.

There are several advantages to purchasing a turnkey website.
    Less cost involved in start-up.
    Less time involved in set-up.
Less requirement for website design and technical skills.
Generally a tried and tested template/script so learning the functions is simplified

As you begin searching for sellers of turnkey websites you should ask the following questions:
    1. What are the limitations to the site? Make sure that you are able to see a live demo and get a complete description of the functions. If there is a feature missing that is necessary for your business then be sure that it can be modified to meet your needs (though this may be an additional fee).
    2. Is hosting included with the site and at what cost? Most turnkey websites are sold along with a hosting package. You can compare prices and services for hosting and determine whether to purchase the package or host elsewhere.
    3. Is the site installed for me or do I receive a file? A true turnkey website is just like it sounds…turn key. You should receive notification that the site is installed and be provided with the log in details to access the back end control panel of your site.
    4. Does the site come with technical assistance? The resale of turnkey websites has become popular as people are always looking for something inexpensive to resell on the net. If you are going to secure the future of your business on a turnkey website then you want to buy from a professional company. Be sure that you are able to obtain contact information including a phone number. Multiple email addresses and live help are always a benefit too. Although some modifications may be done at an additional cost, be sure that the seller is offering some assistance while you get up and running. Verify whether or not you will receive on going support and for how long. If you purchase a turnkey website with hosting then it would not be unreasonable to have unlimited support for certain aspects of your websites function.

If you are seeking an online venture and need to get on the fast track then buying a turnkey website can be a great way to jumpstart your new business. More and more people are starting online businesses everyday so it is time to open up your own door of opportunity and success. Good luck in your ventures.

Bathroom Remodel Tips: Bathroom Vanity Material Types

One of the most common questions we receive from our clients is:
What material are your vanities made from?

Though the answer is a simple one, the response we get from clients can be at times frustrating. There are many myths about bathroom cabinetry material type. The goal of this article is to help educate you on this subject and provide clarification.

Bathroom vanity cabinets can be manufactured from many materials including solid hardwood, MDF (medium density fiberboard), laminate, and glass, just to name a few.

Here are a few advantages and disadvantages to each:

    Solid Hardwood
You will pay a much higher price for a vanity made from solid hardwood. Solid hardwood needs to be laminated together matching grain and color. It must also be adequately dried to prevent warping. There is a higher waste factor in the manufacturing process. You can easily determine if a vanity is made from solid hardwood by looking at the interior finish; if the inside of the vanity has a stain finish, it is made from solid wood; if it is painted, it is made from MDF.

    MDF (Medium Density Fiberboard)
MDF is a composite wood product made out of wood waste fibers glued together with resin, heat, and pressure. MDF is used in many applications because it is smooth, uniform, and won’t warp with a quality paint or finish. MDF is appropriate for bathroom cabinetry because it is more stable with changing humidity levels (no swelling or shrinking). MDF has gained popularity because it has a lower impact on the environment as compared to lumber because it is made from leftover scraps that would otherwise be dumped into a landfill.

    Laminate
Laminate comes in a wide variety of colors and textures: wood patterns, stone, marble and solid colors. Laminate is often used in commercial jobs because of its durability and ease of care. It is also used in post modern remodels and children’s rooms.

    Glass
This very simple to care for; usually considered a contemporary look with limited cabinet space. Most glass vanities have open shelves for storage which require a focus on organization as it is visible to all. Glass vanities can be expensive, depending one the size of the vanity. Glass vanities are usually mixed with chrome for a clean line sophisticated look.

All of the materials mentioned above are considered acceptable materials to manufacture bathroom vanities. The more important factor is the quality of the manufacturer. I have personally seen solid hardwood vanity lines that are manufactured poorly, and have seen very high quality MDF bathroom vanities. Do your research when choosing a vanity retailer, and ideally ask others for recommendations when possible.

    Getting Organized with Home Cleaning

Home cleaning is typically not something that gets anyone excited, but we all know that it is something we all must do. One of the great things about home cleaning is that the amount you do is dependent upon how much time you have to clean. It happens so often that you will have so many house cleaning tasks to do, but just not enough time to get them all done. If this is the case then you probably feel that your house is not as clean as you would like it to be. In normal tasks in your life you may use a schedule or a planner to ensure that it all gets done; why should cleaning your home be any different? A schedule for all of your cleaning tasks is a great and organized way to get everything done, without having to stress out.

The first thing to do, before you can even make a schedule is to determine how much time you will need in the first place. There are certain factors that affect the amount of time you need and must be taken into consideration. The size of you family has a big impact on your time allotted; the larger the family the more time you need. You also need to figure out what defines your idea of clean. Do you want everything to be so clean that you could potentially eat off the floor, or do you just want things to be neat and tidy?

After you have figured out the amount of time you need, you are ready to start putting together a schedule for your home cleaning. First things first, you must get a calendar, one that is bigger enough to write on. If you have a list of all of the major house cleaning events that need to be done, then you can pick a date and fill it in that way. You can even separate the chores into groups of two: those that you do bi monthly and those that you do weekly. Things like cleaning the bathroom or cleaning out the refrigerator are generally things that you would do every other week, maybe even monthly for the refrigerator. Then you can fill in all of the things that you would like to do once each week to get organized. Next to each thing that you write down you can note how much time you think it will take for each task. This will allow you to manage your time on a weekly and monthly basis. Once you get organized and on a schedule you will realize that home cleaning is really not as bad as you thought.

Where To Go To Find Plus Size Lingerie

Plus size lingerie can be extremely difficult to find these days. This is rather odd, considering the large percentage of women who fit into the plus size category. One would think that retailers would be lining up to cater to women in need of plus sized clothes and plus sized lingerie. However, only a few stores come to mind. Sure, there are some brick and mortar stores that offer plus size lingerie, like Lane Bryant, Deb Plus and Fashion Bug Plus, but the majority of plus size lingerie is confined to the back of the womens section in larger department stores.

Still, even then the plus size lingerie options that shoppers have available to them are extremely limited. Much of the plus size lingerie offered at traditional brick and mortar stores resembles a large ream of fabric that looks more like a tent than anything sexy.

Slowly but surely, however, designers are starting to see the giant in the plus size lingerie market. This is translating to more and more retailers offering plus size lingerie and much of it is extremely affordable. Although most of these retailers and designers are running their businesses off of the Internet, as opposed to renting a storefront out in the real world, they are still pretty much reputable.

All you need to do to find these plus size lingerie peddlers, is do a quick Google (or Yahoo! or MSN, or any other search engine for that matter) and search for plus size lingerie. Instantly, literally millions of websites are returned for you to browse through. Just like any traditional stores out there, most of the online retailers are more than happy to accept your returns (but just as long as you have not worn any of the items). So, there is pretty much nothing to lose by purchasing your plus size lingerie off of the Internet.

Plus, there are really great benefits to shopping for plus size lingerie online, as opposed to actually going into a physical store to make your purchases. First, there is more privacy when you shop online. You do not have to give the person behind the counter what it is that you plan on buying, and they will not know what size you are (if ever you are concerned with that kind of thing). Also, you can usually get better deals online, because retailers save more money by connecting directly to you.

Is A Libido Enhancer The Best Answer To Your Sexual Woes? Find Out Now

In today’s world, trying out a libido enhancer or several of them every now and then has almost become a trend. Many people are tempted to try it out just to experience the effects or in view of spicing up their sex life. Indeed, the hype about different forms and types of sexual libido enhancers for men is eating up the whole world.

Fast and aggressive email campaigns are flooding individual email accounts and making sure that all the men in this world feel like having a libido or sex drive enhancer from time to time is a very natural thing to do. But not all of these products are of the quality you want so you need to be extra careful when opting for such a remedy.

A libido enhancer is expected to have stronger as well as more sustained effects then mere aphrodisiac herbs. However, there are some symptoms which could indicate that you are experiencing genuine decrease in your level of fertility and libido, and hence you really need a good enhancer for the libido.

One of these symptoms is erectile dysfunction or ED, which is the loss of the ability to attain or sustain erection for a time period long enough to engage in sexual activity. Another like symptom is premature ejaculation, which, though it sounds more or less the same as ED, is in fact the attainment of ejaculation before it is desired during intercourse.

But in fact, even if you diagnose these two symptoms mentioned above, it does not always mean that you are merely experiencing a decrease in your sexual urge or libido, and that you only need a libido enhancer to improve your sex life. It is true that at the first signs of premature ejaculation or erectile dysfunction, most people tend to automatically opt for an enhancer for their sex drive. However, these symptoms could be indicating something as trivial as a period of stress, or issues as serious as genital infections or dysfunctions.

For example, infections of the epididymitis (where sperms are stored), for instance, or such medical conditions as Cryptorchidism (when the testes does not descend to the scrota) or Hyperprolactinemia (insufficient level of Prolactine, a body hormone) could all result in erectile dysfunction or premature ejaculation. In such cases, obviously no sex drive enhancer would work, and what you would actually require is medical assistance.

Summarizing the above, it can be said that going for a libido enhancer at the first sign of a fall in the libido could be an option for you even though in some cases, you may not need it at all. Indeed, physiological factors, psychological factors as well as a combination of both can be equally responsible for a decrease in the libido, and hence going for an enhancer for your libido may or may not work, depending on the reason behind the fall in libido.

Having said that, if you find that your libido is falling and it is affecting your erection strength and other sexual abilities, then a good herbal libido enhancer can help. This is especially so if you can ascertain that the cause of your decrease in libido is not due to any serious illnesses or mere stress.

If you have decided to go for a libido enhancer to solve your sexual problems, you will find that your next problem is in finding a good, herbal enhancer that you can trust. You must do some research before you buy any such products because there are scammers waiting at every corner trying to rob you of your money. Its caveat emptor (or buyers beware).

Bookkeeping Business Secrets for Goal-Setting Success

Goal setting is crucial to the success of any business, but is particularly important for entrepreneurs in the bookkeeping service business who can become distracted with multiple priorities. Goal setting allows us to be proactive, instead of just being reactive. We’ve all had days where we leap from one crisis to another, but we know that’s not a preferred mode of operation for our bookkeeping services! Goals direct actions, give us something to aim for, and serve as a yardstick for measuring our bookkeeping business’s success.

When setting business goals, I use a successful goal-setting formula that a business coach
mentor taught me. The formula incorporates a strategy or strategies for accomplishing the goal: “I will (goal + performance measure) by (specific actions).”

For example, suppose that you want to increase revenue. First specify the goal: “I will increase revenue this month by twenty-five percent.” Setting a specific goal builds in the criteria you will use to evaluate your success.

In this case, at the end of the month, you’ll either have increased sales by twenty-five percent compared to the previous month or not. Then, specify the strategy that you will use to work towards accomplishing the goal: “I will increase sales this month by twenty-five percent by offering a ten-percent-off sale on all inventory and advertising this sale in the local newspapers.”

This makes evaluating your success or failure easy because your goal is specific rather than general. Suddenly, instead of just having a goal that you may or may not achieve, you have a specific plan to follow to achieve the goal you have set.

If you avoid setting goals, here are a few bookkeeping business secrets for goal-setting success:

Bookkeeping Business Secret #1: Have Short-Term and Long-Term Goals

The first thing I do when setting goals is to consider where I would like to be five years from now. Once I have determined my long-term goal or ideal scene, I work backwards by breaking this ideal scene down into short-term goals and specifying milestones that need to be achieved along the way.

If the task seems too daunting with a five-year plan, establish 90-day goals. Limit goals to three specific things that you want to accomplish. Write out each goal and put a due date next to it. Then write out each step that needs to be taken, by when, and what type of support you need to accomplish that goal. Then schedule in your calendar time to honor the commitment you just made to yourself.

Bookkeeping Business Secret #2: Be Relevant

Goals should help you attain a specific aim. Beware of goals that keep you busy but do not contribute directly to the overall goal you have set for yourself and the success of your bookkeeping business. If you don’t believe your goals are worthwhile, you won’t make the necessary effort to achieve them. For example, several years ago I wanted to work a four-day work week. I set the goal, but did not really believe that I could or should work only four days a week. Guess what? It never happened because I was not truly aligned with the goal.

Bookkeeping Business Secret #3: Review Your Goals Constantly

Review your goals daily. Keep them in plain view – by your desk or next to your computer. Goals are not something that you write down and file in a drawer. The more you embody your goals, the more real they become and the more aware you are of opportunities that cross your path to help you achieve those goals.

I write my goals on colorful 4×6 index cards and keep them by my bedside. I read them first thing each morning and then again before I go to sleep at night. This keeps me focused and moving toward my goals.

Bookkeeping Business Secret #4: Stay on Track

Once you establish clear goals you will begin to notice that opportunities begin to present themselves. When this happens, I ask myself a very important question which helps me to decide whether I should look further into the opportunity or let it go – “Does this opportunity bring me closer to my goal or further away from it?”

By asking yourself this simple question, you’ll be able to take decisive action towards accomplishing your goals. For example, a lovely salesperson from ADP has been calling me to schedule a meeting to show me their services and how they have changed. By asking myself, “Does this opportunity bring me closer to my goal or further away from it?” I have no problem deciding whether or not I should schedule the meeting.

    India Luxury Travel And Tours

The capital city of India is New Delhi – crowded, spicy, loud and utterly romantic. It is a city of extremes, where summer temperatures can range from 40 degrees Celsius, to the chilly winter maxima of 4 degrees. The social differences in New Delhi are also amazing, and this land which was once known mostly for its poor and hungry population is now becoming established on the world stage as an excellent five star destination for luxury holidays in Asia.

New Delhi has now become quite a cosmopolitan city, with various Indian cultures as well as the influence of the Western world very apparent. It is a colorful and festive city – New Delhi celebrates Republic Day, Gandhi’s birthday and Independence Day with great aplomb, as well as holding festivals for religious holidays such as Durga Puja, Lohri, Holi, Maha Shivaratri, Eid Ul-Adha, Eid ul-Gitr, Buddha’s birthday and of course, Christmas.

There are plenty of awe-inspiring, exciting and historical activities in New Delhi. One of these is Qutb’s Complex, an historical building surrounding the first sandstone victory tower built by Qutbuddin Aibak, the first sultan of Delhi. The Victory Tower’s building began in 1193, so this is a truly ancient sight. The buildings surrounding the complex are also of interest historically, displaying some of the earliest Islamic architecture in India.

New Delhi is also home to the National Museum, which is home to some magnificent pieces of history, covering up to 5 millenia. Some of the most beautiful pieces include the 12th century statue of the cosmic dance of Lord Shiva, and a wonderfully detailed collection of miniature paintings. There are Indus Valley relics here, from around 2,700 BC, and many artefacts from the ancient Silk Road.

However, you will need a base from which to explore New Delhi on your luxury rest in Asia.
